Sometimes, human beings cannot believe their own eyes what they are watching, a number of Pine trees are standing on their own, with a 90 degree angle at their base and suddenly bent towards north. Despite the countless researches, the question is still unanswered that these trees are naturally showing this characteristic or this curvature was created somehow artificially by manipulating the trees. Most interesting factor is that all the other remaining pine trees in the surrounding grow straight naturally which make these few Pine Trees even more eye-catching. Therefore, this place has a magnetic attraction for the explorers, researchers, tourists, movie directors and photographers.

CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS IN POLAND:

The Christmas season in Poland starts exceptionally early. As a Catholic country, name days are celebrated here i.e. the day on which we celebrate the feast of Saint who bore the name given to us. December 6 is the feast of Saint Nicholas, named in his honor Mikolajki (Mikolajki is the Polish version of Nicholas). On this day, Polish children have their first contact of the year with Santa Claus, who leaves small gifts and sweets in socks left by them for the night.

What also distinguishes Poland from other European countries is fasting on Christmas Eve. It is forbidden to eat meat then, which is why most of the dishes on the Christmas table are fish and vegetables. Also on December 24, after the supper, when the first star appears in the sky, Sana Claus visits the household again and gives the actual gifts.

FAMOUS POLISH CUISINE:

PIEROGI (Polish Dumplings)

Pierogi is considered as a National Polish Dish. Polish dumplings are boiled. Pierogi are dumplings with endless options for fillings inside. From street food spots to fancy restaurants, they are found almost everywhere in Poland. Pierogi is a must try dish if you are visiting Poland for the first time.

RACUCHY:

Racuchy is a traditional yeast-based Polish dish similar to pancakes. In Poland, Racuchy can be eaten for breakfast, lunch and even dinner. They can be made plain or with a filling, usually apple one and are mostly served with powdered sugar or jam. Once, you eat this delicious dish, you can’t resist without more and more.

SZARLOTKA (POLISH DESSERT)

Szarlotka (Polish Apple Pie) is a famous dessert and easily found in almost every café or bakery in Poland. Szarlotka is different from American Apple Pie both in crust and the filling. Szarlotka is less sweet as compared to American Apple Pie. Szarlotka is a delightful dessert that should be explored by every tourist who is visiting Poland.

All in all, it can be concluded that Poland has its own exclusive attractions that should be explored at least once by every tourist.
