MAKBOOS:
When it comes to food, Makboos is a well-known rich dish prepared along with chicken or lamb preferably. Makboos is similar to Kabsa. This dish is famous all over the Arab world with slight variation from region to region.

KARAK TEA:
Karak tea also famous as “Karak Chai” all over Qatar. The word ‘Karak’ means strong and the word “Chai” means Tea. This tea is prepared by mixing black tea with a combination of milk, sugar and aromatic herbs and spices.

Haress is a famous Qatari cuisine prepared from mashed wheat and chicken. This dish is similar to the dish in Oman but only the difference is that Omani Harees is prepared with rice instead of wheat.
SHASHUKA:
Shashuka is a simple but a famous dish in Qatar prepared from gently poached eggs in a delicious tomato and pepper sauce. It is also famous as a breakfast food in many parts of Arabia.
LQEEMAT:
Lqeemat is a special dessert which is made from a classic dough without sugar. The mini dough balls are cooked. Then, sweetness is added later on from the honey syrup or date syrup or sugar syrup.
