Tyrol:

Tyrol is an eye-catching state located in Western Austria, home to the Historical Castles, Churches, exciting Museums and Fortresses. Famous historical attractions include Ehrenberg Castle, Kufstein Fortress and Ambras Castle.

Tyrol came in highlights and got attention of almost every researcher back in 1991, the body of an ancient man was found in the glacier in the Otztal Alps. The height of the man was 5feet 3inches. There was an arrow embedded on his left shoulder. It seems that he died because of that arrow attack.

According to the researchers, the man belonged to the period around 3300-3100 BC. The man was pronounced with different names like Otzi (The Iceman), The Frozen Man, Man from Tisenjoch, Frozen Fritz etc. From the belongings of the man it was evident that the man had expertise how to utilize copper and how to make bronze.

All the belongings of the man were preserved carefully and have been given for further scientific study. All the preserves are kept in the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology.

Hallstatt is considered as one of the best destinations in Austria of all time for the explorers and tourists. The place where you are surrounded by crystal clean rivers, clouds slowly moving between the mountains, calm and quiet atmosphere. John Keats famous quote “A thing of beauty is a joy forever” completely fits this destination.

This is an ideal place for authors, intellectuals, archaeologists, script writers, researchers, adventurers, explorers and even tourists. This destiny is an ideal place for rock climbing, hiking, boating and exploring exotic unforgettable locations like “The Ice Caves in Hallstat”.

The Ice Caves carry the whole world of exploration and excitement for the tourists who are visiting for the first time.

HallStatt is famous because of many reasons apart from beauty. Centuries back, it was famous because of salt production. You can even visit one of the oldest salt mine of all time. Hallstatt was also declared as World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997.

ACCORDING TO THE AUTHOR MARLENE MARIA MUCKENHUBER FROM AUSTRIA:

Zell Am See:

Zell am See is one of the most important tourist destination and at the same time it enjoys the status of being administrative capital of the “Zell am See District” in State of Salzburg, Austria. The beautiful mountains of the area form a horseshoe shape which makes Zell am See even more exclusive and attractive destination for the visitors naturally.
